Independent Assessments of Risk Management Processes
We assess your risk management processes regarding significant changes to the railway system in accordance to Regulation (EU) No 402/2013 of 30 April 2013 on the common safety method for risk evaluation and assessment and repealing Regulation (EC) No 352/2009 and it‘s amendment per Regulation (EU) No 2015/1136 of 13 July 2015 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) No 402/2013 on the common safety method for risk evaluation and assessment.
In doing so, we place emphasis on an early coordination to avoid revisions and additional expenses in later phases.
Assessment/Verification of Significance Ratings
We review your significance assessment which leads to the conclusion that a change to the railway system is not relevant to safety and/or is not significant. In this case the result of your significance assessment is supported by an independent expert opinion for potential later explanatory requirements.
Such assessments/verifications of significance ratings are not part of independent safety assessments according to Regulation (EU) No 402/2013 of 30. April 2013.
